5 Day Tanzania Lodge Safari Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your Arusha hotel at 8:00 AM, embarking on a scenic 3-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Spend a full day immersed in the park's diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife, including the famous tree-climbing lions and vibrant flamingos drawn to the algae-rich lake. Explore the park's natural wonders, including a visit to a hot spring that adds to the park's allure.

Later in the day, you will visit a Maasai boma, where you'll have the opportunity to witness and learn about the traditional lifestyle, culture, and customs of the Maasai people. After these enriching experiences, continue your journey to Marera View Lodge for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.

The day concludes with a return drive to Arusha, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night, reflecting on the memorable encounters and natural beauty experienced throughout your Lake Manyara adventure.

After waking up this morning, enjoy a full breakfast and pack your luggage into the safari jeep. Embark on an en-route game drive to Serengeti, with lunch served inside the jeep. Along the way, marvel at the breathtaking views of the Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Crater before arriving in Serengeti around 3 PM.

In the evening, experience an exhilarating safari drive in central Serengeti, where you can witness the stunning sunset over the vast plains. Later, enjoy a delicious dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp, nestled within Serengeti's iconic landscape.

Serengeti's major attractions include its endless plains and known as the Great Wildebeest Migration, involving 1.5 million herbivores and their predators moving across the region in response to seasonal changes. Your superb driver-guide will ensure you witness part of this incredible wildlife spectacle, with vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, Grant's gazelles, Thomson's gazelles, elands, and impalas roaming the Serengeti.

You'll wake up at 5:45 AM to catch the sunrise within Serengeti National Park. After enjoying an early breakfast, embark on a morning safari drive that lasts until approximately 11:30 AM, exploring the park's diverse wildlife and landscapes. Return to the campsite for a hot lunch and then pack your belongings into the safari jeep.

Following lunch, continue your adventure with an afternoon safari drive through Serengeti National Park as you make your way towards Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge in time for dinner and spend the night, preparing for the next leg of your safari journey.

Wake up around 5:30 AM for breakfast, followed by a descent to the floor of Ngorongoro Crater. Experience sightings of the famous Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—as well as numerous bird species, including the endangered black rhino. Enjoy lunch within the crater amidst stunning natural scenery and the sight of flamingos in their high concentrations.

After an extensive 6 to 7-hour game drive exploring the crater floor, begin your ascent, passing by the campsite to pack all luggage into the jeep. Prepare for the journey back to Arusha, where you will spend the night, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences of the day's safari adventure.
